Tonight I got the opportunity to hang out with this wonderful family.  We walked around downtown Newberg for a couple of hours.  Apparently most of the stores give out candy plus there was a bouncy house among other activities for kids.  It was a lot of fun and I got to be indoors nice and early.  :)  Happy Halloween!

In honor of Robyn (and the nice man who got out of his car, at a stoplight, to tell me I had left something on top of my car).  So, here's to a wonderful sister and the kindness of strangers.

So, I would say this picture describes my day pretty well.  I got a job as a resident assistant at an emergency women's shelter.  I will be doing everything from answering phones, to talking with women, breaking up fights, to cleaning the toilets etc.  It feels good to have the security of a job.  Plus it is something I want to be doing.  All in all a good day.
